The Butterfly Collection, as we call our youth group, is an exciting group of people, who have found a "place to be" at Immanuel.  Just as a butterfly has gone through an amazing transformation, so go these people.

Youth ministry at Immanuel Presbyterian Church offers opportunities for worship, study, leadership, mission, and fellowship to all youth 6th to 12th grade.  Every Sunday, we meet in the youth area at 9:30 am for Bible study and worship.  Once a month, usually the first Sunday of the month, we gather for fellowship.

On another weekend (usually the third) in the month, we gather for "Servant Something":  a time to do something for other people.  Being a part of a youth group is sometimes about having fun.  It's more than that though.  We need to reach out to others in Christian love.  So we do things for others as well.  Join us for this exciting time.

Watch the calendar and newsletters for announcements on upcoming youth fellowship events and Servant Something.

Five Intentions of Youth Ministry

bullet To call young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
bullet To respond to the needs and the interests of young people.
bullet To work together, youth and adults, in partnership.
bullet To be connected to the whole church, community and world.
bullet

To include all young people, reaching out and inviting them to
belong to the community of faith.

Eric Lieberman is the Youth Coordinator.
