Immanuel's Chancel Choir is a volunteer group that provides music ministry during the 10:30 am services through the church year. All singers are welcome. Contact our Organist/Choir Director, Mike McHugh, for more information.

During the Fall, Winter, and Spring, rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the choir room. During the Summer, rehearsals are at 9:30 am on Sunday morning in the choir room.

Jubilee Ringers, Immanuel's handbell choir, is the oldest handbell choir in Albuquerque, and plays on a five-octave set of bells cast by Whitechapel in England. The choir participates in the 10:30 am worship services on Sunday mornings throughout the year. The Ringers also perform for community organizations. Roy Morgan is the director.

Immanuel's Youth Ensemble comprises students from area middle and high schools. Their enthusiasm shows as they share their talent during Sunday morning worship services during the school year. They also participate in the city-wide church youth choir festival each year. Bonnie Pachanian-Finch is the conductor.

The pipe organ in Immanuel's Sanctuary was built by Casavant Freres in 1965, in Saint Hyacinthe, Quebec. It has 30 stops, 41 ranks of pipe, on 3 manuals and pedal, located in chambers east and west of the choir loft. The pipes number over 2,000.

Because of the extraordinary acoustics in the Immanuel Sanctuary (thanks to architect John Gaw Meem's experience with early New Mexican mission churches which were modeled after European cathedrals), numerous musical groups in Albuquerque hold concerts or rehearse here. Among them:

Albuquerque Chamber Soloists
Albuquerque Civic Chorus
Albuquerque Flute Association
Albuquerque Philharmonic Orchestra
Canticum Novum Chamber Orchestra and Chorus
Chamber Music Albuquerque
de Profundis men's a cappella ensemble
KHFM Peformance Live Series
New Life Symphony Orchestra
New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus
